The likelihood of someone surviving a sudden cardiac arrest is greater when that person is administered quick, high-quality chest compressions. It is important to learn the signs of a cardiac arrest, how to activate the emergency response system, and how to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR.
Crown Point Fire-Rescue offers a monthly CPR class at the BLS provider-level. Our class is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6 pm at the Crown Point Firehouse. The course is $30.00 for Crown Point residents and $40.00 for non-residents. Our classes will fill up very quickly, so reserve your spot today by calling the fire department office manager at 219-662-3248, ext. 4.
