Knowing how to perform CPR and use an AED can save a life!

Crown Point Fire Rescue offers CPR training, teaching the AHA BLS Provider CPR & AED course to the public. You will be trained and certified in adult, child, infant CPR, foreign body airway obstruction (choking) and AED (automated external defibrillator). You will receive training from Crown Point Fire Rescue’s own personnel who are certified AHA CPR Instructors.

Our classes are held every second Tuesday of each month with your choice of a 9 a.m. class or a 6 p.m. class at Bulldog Park, 183 S. West St. Crown Point, IN 46307. The class is held on the 2nd floor in the Community Room 4 (202). The cost of the class is $40 payable to Crown Point Fire Rescue. To register for class, please email tmanes@crownpoint.in.gov. Please include your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, Date of class, & time slot. Below are instructions on how to pay for the class.

How to pay
The cost is $40 per person. All payments are due one week prior to the class date. If not paid your registration can be cancelled. 

You can pay online by visiting CPR Paygov.  If paying by credit card there will be a fee. PayGov will appear on your bank or credit card statement as the recipient of payment. 

Cash is accepted. If paying by check or money order, please make it out to Crown Point Fire Rescue. You can stop by the fire department office to drop off payment from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. You also can pay any time at our drop box located at 126 N. East St. inside the doors on the righthand side. Please include your name, place the payment in an envelope and put it in the drop box.
