Knowing how to perform CPR and use an AED can save a life! Early recognition of cardiac arrest, along with activation of 911, early CPR, and early rapid defibrillation with an AED.
Crown Point Fire-Rescue offers CPR training teaching the AHA BLS Provider CPR & AED course to the public. You will be trained and certified in adult, child, infant CPR, foreign body airway obstruction (choking), and AED (automated external defibrillator). You will receive training from some of the Crown Point Fire-Rescue’s own personnel that are certified AHA CPR Instructors.
Our classes are held every 2nd Tuesday of each month with your choice of a 9:00AM class or a 6:00PM class being held at Bulldog Park . The cost of the class is $35 payable to Crown Point Fire Rescue. To register for class, you must sign up on this link AHA CPR, search for "Crown Point Fire Rescue" and click on "Details", next click on "BLS Provider", and click "Reserve", next fill out the form and click "Reserve" again.
How to pay:
The cost is $35.00 per person.
You can pay online by clicking here; CPR Paygov. If paying by credit card there will be a fee. Paygov will appear on your bank or credit card statement as the recipient of payment.
Cash is accepted or if paying by check or money order please make it out to Crown Point Fire Rescue. You can stop by the fire department office to drop off payment Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm. You can also pay 24 hours a day at our drop box located at 126 N. East St. inside the doors on the right hand side. Include your name, place payment in envelope and put in drop box.
