The Crown Point Fire Rescue Department is made up of a number specialized rescue teams. As a participating agency with the Indiana District 1 Response Task Force (DRTF), our members benefit from cutting-edge training and we have state of the art equipment at our disposal. CPFR frequently responds to single incident emergencies that vary from vehicles crashing into buildings to water emergencies. As a DRTF member, we partner with responders from Lake, Porter, Laporte, Newton, and Jasper counties to provide highly specialized services that most cities and towns could not support on their own
