Tire & Appliance Recycling

Tire and appliance recycling is available for Lake County residents at the Crown Point Public Works Department located at: 

705 Industrial Blvd, Crown Point IN 46307


Drop off times are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm with the exception of holidays. An appointment is not necessary for tire or appliance recycling. Please check into the front office before dropping off.

  • Tires with rims will not be accepted.
  • Tires larger than average truck tires will not be accepted.
  • All doors from refrigerators/freezers must be removed.
