The City of Crown Point is pleased to have the opportunity to spotlight Crown Point businesses in its Shop Local Campaign.

Why Local Businesses Are Important

Studies show that locally owned, independent businesses return approximately 80% of each dollar back to the community compared to only 20% to 40% of large chains and franchises. These monies go toward hiring local employees, top-rated schools, city parks, public safety and more.

It is a goal that the City of Crown Point aid our local merchants in every way it can. The City and its Redevelopment Commission plans to promote this Campaign with all tools at its disposal. Please watch for upcoming promotion in our local magazines and newspapers, government access television channels, local businesses and much much more!
