Welcome to the Planning & Building Department
Planning & Building
The Planning & Building Department oversees all land planning developments,
construction of new homes, commercial development and inspections of all new
construction.
The Director of the Planning Department serves as Chief of Staff for the Plan
Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and the Historic Preservation
Commission.
The office staff provides daily assistance to the general public regarding the
above information as well as prepares monthly Plan Commission, Board of
Zoning Appeals, and Historic Preservation Agendas for the meetings.
