© City of Crown Point 2011 Market Application Rules & Regulations Health Department Info   The Crown Point Farmers Market is held every Saturday in June thru the first week in October from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on South Main Street.  Applications are currently available on the city website, www.crownpoint.in.gov, or by contacting the Mayor's Office of Special Events directly at (219) 662-3290.  As there are a set amount of spaces, interested vendors are asked to contact the Mayor’s Office of Special Events for additional information. The market has expanded to include frozen meats t.  Additionally on the slate for the 2011 season is a live cooking demonstration, food and nutrition forum, live entertainment each week (weather pending) from the Farmers Market house band Art Handley and Friends, and much more. Produce, landscape, floral, cheese, home-grown product, and other vendors may purchase a 10 x 10 booth space for either the seasonal rate of $150.00 or weekly rate of $30.00.  As of July 30, 2007, the market became sanctioned as a Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) through the Indiana State Department of Health's WIC program, and is looking for WIC participating growers. .
