Emergency Management The Crown Point Emergency Management Department is looking for community oriented volunteers to join the rewarding department. The Emergency Management Department receives training from the Crown Point Fire and Police Departments, as well as the Lake County Emergency Management. As a part of Homeland Security and FEMA, training is continuous and comes at no cost to the members. Duties may include but are not limited to traffic and crowd control, hazardous material assistance, severe weather spotting, and assistance in missing person searches.
